Tom Murphy is passionate about wood and woodworking.   Over the years, in the rare quiet moments between home building and remodeling projects, Tom has snuck into his mountaintop workroom to craft wood furniture and fixtures for his home, and for friends and family as well.

Tom expanded the workroom in both square footage and equipment as the number and size of projects grew. Today it is a fully-outfitted, free-standing woodworking shop.

Each season brings more custom commissions for new and existing clients alike.

HANDCRAFTING YOUR VISION

Tom starts with your ideas and turns them into beautiful realities.  Options are everything from statement furniture pieces to custom built-ins.  Custom coffee tables, dining tables, daybeds, mirror frames, TV cabinets, bookshelves, dressers, trunks, bed frames, fireplace mantles, bunk beds and jewelry boxes are just some of the gorgeous pieces created to date.  Small cabinet projects are an option as well.

Wood choices include many domestic or exotic hardwoods. Reclaimed woods, historic oak, barn wood and trestle wood are also available.  Both staining and painting are offered.

Pieces are customized to each client’s dimensional request.
